Spanning from the city of Providence Rhode Island to East Providence RI, this railroad bridge has been stuck in the open position since it ceased being used in 1976. Designed by the Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridge Company, and built in 1908 as part of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad line. The Crook Point Bridge now serves as an iconic image of urban decay.
