The early morning light was hitting this pine cone that hung from a white pine tree at the edge of my yard, and creating it's on picture perfect lighting. I could not resist capturing this photo of the white pine cone and the evergreen boughs from which it hung.

I love the way the delicate pine needles surround the pine cone.
